Means of Transportation by Mode refers to the various methods of travel utilized by area residents. These methods include driving alone, carpooling, using public transportation, and employing alternative modes such as biking or walking.

The US Census Bureau’s website provides data on the total population subdivided by the mode of their transport within the counties and localities in our 8-county region, New York State, and the United States. The data is from 2000 & 2017.
