The median home value within ACT’s 8-county region and its localities is defined as the home value reported by the homeowner to the Census Bureau, adjusted for inflation to 2021. The median represents the midpoint of home values (half the values are above the median and half below).

The median home value across our 8-county region has been steadily increasing at an average annual rate of 3.3%, rising from $109,850 in 2010 to $166,500 in 2023.

Medina has the lowest median home value of all localities in the 8-county region with $101k in 2023, whereas Pittsford town had the highest median home value at $365k.
Orleans County
In 2023, Orleans County boasted the most affordable median home price at $126,200, whereas Ontario County had the highest median home value at $202,900.

In 2023, the median home value across the whole region was $166,500, which is less than half of the median home value of New York State, which was $403,000.
